Report Tool enables you to store server and report settings in customer profiles and content profiles. Customer profiles contain server settings, report settings and content profiles. Content profiles contain the server configuration items to be included in reports (for example phones and device profiles).
Customer Profile
Customer profiles store all settings, and are displayed in a drop down box in the header of the Report Tool form:
Each one includes server, presenter and client information, report format settings, and report content profiles. Typically, profiles will be named according to the customer deployment.

An easy way to create a new profile is to simply copy an existing profile with the copy button, provide a new customer profile name and modify its settings.

Content Profile
One, or several, Content Profiles are contained within a customer profile. It defines which server configuration items are included in the generated report and its settings, such as condensed, detailed or both.
Typically, the following content profiles are recommended for a large deployment:
•System Settings
•Phones
•Device Profiles
•Users
•Gateways
These profiles can be copied, updated or deleted on the Generate Report tab.
The Content Profile is selected after a customer profile has been selected and before the report generation commences. The last selected content profile is saved as the active content profile within the customer profile and used for report generation.
Command Line
Settings of a specific customer profile are loaded with the switch: /config (or /c) <Customer Profile name>. If this argument is not provided, the settings of the last active customer profile will be loaded.
