Manual/Offline mode activation of licenses is for computers without internet access. When there is internet access, it is strongly recommended to use the automatic online method (see How to license Basic, Standard and Pro, or How to license Enterprise ) to obtain a license automatically.

Please note that UPLINX support does not generate or issue licenses - this must be done by the License Administrator.
The License Administrator has been assigned to a licensing contract when a license for UPLINX tools has been purchased.

The steps to obtain and install a manual license key are :
1.Mark and copy the HID (Hardware ID) displayed on the About tab and email it to the License Administrator.
2.The Contract Administrator needs to log into into the UPLINX Licensing System and generate a license key. The license key is then emailed out as an attachment.
3.You should have received now an email including the license key and steps to install the license. Save the license key as follows:
1.Save the email attachment that is the license key to the local file system.
2.Use Windows File Explorer, change the file extension from "license.txt" to ".license" so that the file extension is only ".license".
3.On the About tab of the tool, click the "Add License" button and select the license file.
