Any of the supported servers to report on as listed in Compatible Cisco Products and Software Versions.

Microsoft Windows version 10, 11, 64-bit, Windows Server 2016. 2019, 2022. Recommended 6 GB RAM, i5 CPU or better (depending on amount of phones and database size).

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 or later. The installer will automatically download this component from Microsoft if not yet installed.

(Optional) Word 2016, 2019 (32 or 64 bit) or now called Office 365 to generate Word reports; VBA macro support needs to be installed and enabled.

Web Browser (any CSS 2 compliant browsers).

A LAN connection from the PC where the UPLINX Report Tool is run on to the servers. It works also via VPN or any other IP connectivity as long as there is good network quality as defined below.


Bandwidth must be at least 150 Kbps and max 200ms RTT. Please test the VPN QoS first with the trial version before purchasing a license.

 

License Requirements
 

1.An Administrator cannot obtain a license for a user. A license must be applied by logging into a Windows user account and starting the tool, then entering contract number and user's details to obtain the license in automated mode. Please see http://licensing.uplinx.com/licensing/help/index.htm

2.As a login and desktop GUI is required, service user accounts without a GUI cannot be licensed.

3.VMware redundancy mechanism such as VMotion, and also cloning, change the hardware (CPU IDs, MACs), might not retain the license as MAC and Processor IDs are encoded in the license.

4.Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) is not supported and does not work with UPLINX license keys due to changing hardware.
