When generating a Word report, an error can appear that reads:

Word error while generating the report: You are attempting to open a file that is blocked by your File Block settings in the Trust Center

In Microsoft Office versions 2010 and later, the Trust Center has an option that allows blocking or restricting the opening of older office file types. If you recieve this error, you must go to the Trust Center to allow Office 2007 file types to be opened. Follow these steps: 

1. Open Word or Excel, depending on which program caused the error
2. Go to File ... Options ... Trust Center
3. Click Trust Center Settings
4. In the window that appears select File Block Settings
5. These options will appear:

1. Ensure that Word 2007 (or Excel 2007) and later Binary Documents and Templates is NOT checked.
2. Click OK
3. Close Word (or Excel)
4. In UPLINX Report Tool for Amazon generate the report again
