The Settings tab of UPLINX Remote Phone Control contains timers to control screen refresh.
It contains the following options:
•Periodically refresh screen. Enables an automatic, periodic screen refresh and defines the periodic interval.
•Refresh delay after key stroke controls how long the Phone Control waits to refresh the screen after a key is pressed. The default value is 0.8 seconds. This value should be adjusted according to the actual network delay and phone responsiveness. If it is too low, the screen will be retrieved too quickly and does not yet include the screen update of the phone after receiving the latest key press. If it is too high, the user has to wait too long. Start on a high value and reduce the value.
•Refresh Delay after EM Login/Logout controls how long the Phone Control application waits to refresh the screen after an Extension Mobility user has been logged in or logged out. The default value is 15 seconds.
•Play a sound when the phone is ringing allows an audible alert when the phone rings.
